ABOUT THE JOURNAL
The Journal of Counseling Research and Practice is an annual publication seeking to blend the science and practice of counseling. The Journal is specifically designed to meet the needs of counselors across all specialty areas of the American Counseling Association. Our mission as a comprehensive professional publication is to further the field of counseling by providing a vehicle for innovative research.

The Journal of Counseling Research and Practice is the Journal of the Mississippi Counseling Association (historically referred to as The MCA Journal), and MCA membership benefits include electronic access to the Journal.

INVITATION FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS
The Journal of Counseling Research and Practice invites manuscripts that are directed to the mutual interests of counselors who practice in the various realms of our profession. We are particularly interested in manuscripts that address: a) practical and unique applications of counseling theories or techniques; b) significant quantitative and qualitative research; and c) critical integrations of published research.
Submitting Your Manuscript: Authors interested in submitting their manuscripts should download and return the Manuscript Submission Form. The form may be completed electronically (or hand written and scanned) and emailed to jcrp@mc.edu.
Manuscript style and format must conform to the guidelines in the latest edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.
